Scope of application

These general terms and conditions of sale apply, within the framework of the online sales service on the Internet by Lehvallée, to end consumers wishing to acquire the products marketed on the website lehvallee.fr exclusively for their personal needs and without direct or indirect connection with a commercial, intermediary or reseller activity (hereinafter referred to as "The Customer"). In the case of an order originating from a country other than metropolitan France, the customer is the importer of the products concerned. For all products shipped outside the EEC and French overseas territories, customs duties and other local taxes may apply. These duties are not the responsibility of Lehvallée. They will be borne exclusively by the customer, who is advised to inquire about these matters before placing any order. These general terms and conditions of sale are subject to change at any time, provided that such changes are published on the website.

Price

Product prices are shown in Euros, including all taxes. Lehvallée reserves the right to change its prices at any time, but products will be billed based on the rates in effect at the time the order is registered, subject to availability.

Order

The customer selects the products they wish to order on the website. Payment is made online by credit card or PayPal. The order is confirmed by email, specifying the items ordered, the order amount, and the delivery address. The order will be shipped no later than 2 working days after receipt of payment unless otherwise stated in the confirmation.

Acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale

The customer declares having read and accepted these terms and conditions of sale before placing their order. Order confirmation therefore constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions of sale. The data recorded by Lehvallée serves as proof of the transaction.

Availability

Product offers and prices are valid while they are displayed on the website, subject to availability. Due to the handcrafted nature of the products, items available in stock may vary slightly in color and size from the photos shown. In the event that the product is unavailable after an order has been placed, the customer is informed by email as soon as possible and is refunded by Lehvallée.

Delivery

The products are delivered to the delivery address provided by the customer during the order process. The delivery time includes the time required to prepare the package and the shipping time. The order will only be processed after confirmation and receipt of payment. In case of a delivery delay, the customer has the option to cancel the order.The customer has the option to regularly check the status of their order on their customer account and to contact customer service with any questions by email at sonam@lehvallee.com.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are generated automatically during the order process. Lehvallée covers the shipping costs for the default carrier for orders shipped within mainland France, and offers other shipping options which will be charged separately. If you choose a delivery method other than Lehvallée's default option, the shipping costs will be shown on your order confirmation. For any shipment outside of France, please contact Lehvallée before finalizing your order to confirm shipping costs and any changes to community fees and taxes.

Payment

For online payment, you should follow the order placement process outlined on the website. Payment data is exchanged in encrypted mode using the SSL protocol certified by a certification authority. We do not store our customers' bank card details on our website.

Transfer of ownership, transfer of risks.

Ownership and risk transfer upon delivery of the goods, provided payment has been received. The goods must be inspected by the customer upon delivery. Any reservations must be noted on the delivery slip presented by the carrier or reported to Lehvallée's sales department within 72 hours. In case of a defect, return shipping costs are covered by Lehvallée. The defective item will either be exchanged or refunded.

Right of withdrawal.

Returns are free if the delivery address is in Metropolitan France. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility if the delivery address is outside Metropolitan France, and the return is at their own risk. The customer has 14 days from receipt of the order to return their purchases for a refund or store credit. After this 14-day period, the sale is final.Items must be returned to us in their original packaging and condition, along with the delivery note received with the order. This refund or credit note procedure excludes any exchanges, in order to spare the customer the delays and complications of exchange procedures, which could be a significant inconvenience.To make a return, the customer must follow the procedure indicated on our website or on the delivery note received with their order. Any return that does not comply with these procedures (without prior registration on our website) will be rejected, and Lehvallée will be released from all liability.Refunds and credit notes are issued within a maximum of 1 month after receipt of the returned package.

Guarantees.

The delivered products are covered by a warranty against all hidden defects arising from faulty materials, design, or manufacturing that render them unfit for their intended use, in accordance with legal provisions. This warranty is void in cases of misuse, negligence, or improper maintenance by the customer. Lehvallée will replace or repair any products deemed defective. Please note that our products are handcrafted and may contain minor imperfections that are inherent to the product and do not affect its normal use. These irregularities should not be considered a defect in materials, design, or manufacturing. The products sold on this website comply with current French regulations. The seller will not be held liable for any delays resulting from force majeure.

Applicable Law - Disputes

These terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, only the French courts shall have jurisdiction.

Data Processing and Freedoms

In accordance with law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, it is noted that the personal data requested from the customer is necessary for the processing of his order and is intended for internal use by Lehvallée. The customer therefore has a right of access, modification, rectification and objection under the conditions provided by law by contacting customer service.
